Major moves on the local real estate market, as a pair of local apartment complexes have been sold for a combined $15 million.

AMBLER, PA — Two major apartment complexes in Ambler have been sold to new owners for a total of $15 million, realtors announced this week.

Ambler Crossing, located on 311 N. Spring Garden street, and Longford Apartments on 352 Valley Brook Road, were purchased by smaller realtors from the Galman Group, a Jenkintown-based developer.

Ambler Crossing, now owned by Ambler Longford LLC, has 39 units. Longford, the property of Spring Garden Apartments LLC, has 36.

The purchases mark a significant appreciation for both properties. Galman bought Ambler Crossing for $3.3 million in 2016, and Longford for $3.2 million in 2011.

Galman said they plan to reinvest the $15 million in some of their 45 other properties around the Delaware Valley, and that they plan to purchase another residential community in the near future.
