Ambler Driver 'Huffed' Before Crash, Police Say
A 26-year-old Ambler man is facing charges after police allegedly found 'huffing' paraphernalia in his vehicle following a one-car crash.

CRASH/DRUG ARREST: Eric Buseck, 26, of the 400 block of Brookside Ave in Ambler, was arrested on Jan 29 at 10:11 a.m., after he was involved in a one car crash.
Buseck was traveling northeast on Swede Road when he attempted to turn left onto Dekalb Pike and slid off the roadway, striking a Verizon utility pole. The vehicle was towed due to damage sustained in the crash.

During the investigation, the responding officer allegedly located paraphernalia in the car used for "huffing", which resulted in Buseck being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and careless driving.

RETAIL THEFT: On January 29 at 12:40 p.m., police were called to Kohl’s Department Store, 1301 Skippack Pike, where Christina Rahatt, 29, of Norristown, was in custody for allegedly attempting to steal $1616.96 worth of merchandise.
She was arrested for felony retail theft and receiving stolen property. She was arraigned by District Justice Sobeck where she released on her own recognizance.
