Ambler Man Flees From Police, Hides in Closet, Police Say
Tyrell George, 24, of Bannockburn Avenue, allegedly fled into a nearby home on South Main Street in Ambler after officers confronted him about an active warrant, police said.

An Ambler man wanted on an active Montgomery County warrant for a parole violation allegedly fled from police and hid in a closet inside a home along South Main Street, police said.
On Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m., Tyrell George, 24, of the 200 block of Bannockburn Avenue, was seen by Ambler Borough Police officers walking on South Main Street, police said. He was stopped and confronted about his active warrant, police said.
George allegedly ran into a nearby home and was found hiding in a closet, police said.

George was arrested and taken into custody, where he was held at Ambler Borough Police headquarters prior to arraignment, police said.
District Judge Deborah Lukens set bail at $5,000 cash, and George was taken to Montgomery County prison, police said.
