Ambler Man Motioned Outside by Police, Arrested on Warrant: Police
Howard Reed, 34, was found by Whitpain Township Police officers inside his 300 block Maple Street residence, police said. Reed had an active warrant out of Ambler Borough, police said.

An Ambler man was coaxed outside by a Whitpain Township Police officer, who then took the man in custody for an active warrant, police said.
Howard Reed, 34, of the 300 block of Maple Street, was arrested by Whitpain cops on Aug. 19 on an outstanding warrant in Ambler Borough.
Officers were informed of Reed's warrant. On Aug. 19, at 12:36 p.m., Reed was seen at his home, police said.

The officer motioned for Reed to come outside, police said. When Reed exited his home, he was told about the warrant situation, police said.
Reed was taken into custody without a problem and he was turned over to Ambler Borough Police.
