Assault on Unborn Child Levied Against Ambler Man at Hearing

An Ambler man charged with assaulting a pregnant ex-girlfriend had an additional charge tacked on to his alleged offenses at a preliminary hearing Tuesday—assault on an unborn child.
Per The Delco Times, James Lynch, 29, of the 400 block of Railroad Avenue, was arrested Aug. 26 in Westbrook, Upper Darby after he allegedly threatened to cut the baby out of his pregnant ex-lover during an alleged assault at her Gia Circle home.
Lynch remains incarcerated on 10 percent of $50,000 cash bail, per court records.
Lynch is also charged with simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, terroristic threats, burglary, robbery of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and harassment.
