Bomb Threat Called in on Monday Night for Ambler Train Station
A bomb threat was called into Ambler Borough Police on Monday night, which turned out to be negative.

Ambler Police Chief William Foley told Patch that traffic along Butler was stopped and all SEPTA trains coming into and out of Ambler were shut down, and pedestrians waiting on the platforms were evacuated.
The Montgomery County Bomb Squad was notified and K9 united from Whitemarsh, Cheltenham and SEPTA responded to the scene.

The Bomb Squad checked the platforms, tracks and the immediate area with negative results.
