Centre Square Fire Company Announces Carnival to Celebrate 100 Years of Service

Blue Bell, PA: The First Annual Centre Square Fire Company Carnival comes to the main fire house, located at 1298 Skippack Pike, June 11-16, 2013.

This community event, which is expected to attract thousands from all over the Delaware Valley, will feature thrill rides, carnival games, food, live entertainment and more! Come out and have some funnel cake or take a spin on the Merry Go Round.

For those who are more daring, take a space ride on the “Gravitron” or the infamous “Ring of Fire”. Have the whole family try “Charlie Chopper”, which is a first of its kind helicopter ride combining high flying fun and technology. The Centre Square Fire Company Carnival will have something for all ages!

Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Centre Square Fire Company building fund. Centre Square Fire Company was founded in February of 1913, they serve as the primary fire & rescue services provider for Whitpain Township. In addition, they provide fire & rescue services to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and its patrons for the Northeast Extension (Route 476) from the Mid-County Interchange in Plymouth Meeting (mile-marker 20) to the Lansdale Interchange (mile-marker 30.3).

Lastly Centre Square Fire Company provides mutual aid assistance to neighboring fire departments as needed.
