Drunk Norristown Woman Jumped From Moving Truck: Police

A Norristown woman was arrested and charged with public drunkenness last Saturday after she jumped from a moving truck, police said.

On Aug. 24, at 4:36 p.m., a Whitpain Township Police officer on patrol saw Christina Macelak, 46, of the 2000 block of Old Orchard Road, allegedly jump from a pickup truck that was traveling south on North Wales Road, police said.

As the officer spoke with Macelak, it was apparent that she was allegedly intoxicated, police said. Macelak suffered minor injuries in the jump, police said.

Second Alarmers checked her at the scene and she was cleared, police said, and released to a friend.
