AMBLER, PA — One of the region's premier winter road races will hit the streets of Ambler this weekend.
The 25th annual Frostbite 5-Miler will be held Saturday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m. at Wissahickon High School.
The course winds through gently rolling hills around town. It is the first event on USA Track and Field's Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix circuit, which is a series of the most competitive road races around the region.

Online registration is closed, but in-person registration will be held Friday night at the Ambler Theater from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., or on race morning at the high school gym. Registration is limited to 1,500 runners.
The 2023 event saw eight men go under 26:00 and was won by Noah Falasco in 24:41. Abigail Corrigan won the women's race in 28:42, leading eight women under the 30:00 mark.
