'Kneel Before MC3': 'Man of Steel' Drive-In Movie Coming to Whitpain College
The Sept. 20 drive-in movie about Superman and his battle with General Zod is free to Montgomery County Community College ID holders and $10 per car for the general public.

"Man of Steel"—the 2013 Zach Snyder blockbuster—will be shown as a drive-in movie Sept. 20 at Montgomery County Community College in Whitpain Township.
The school is partnering with the township's parks and recreation department to present the drive-in movie, according to MCCC's Alana Mauger.

At dusk, they will press play, so find the perfect spot for the car at the Cathcart Road parking lot.
Admission is free with a valid MCCC student, faculty or staff ID. All others pay $10 per car. Concessions will be available for purchase during the film.

The film—starring Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane as Jonathan and Martha Kent, and Russell Crowe as Jor-El—is about an alien named Kal-El sent as a baby to Earth before his plant Krypton explodes, where he crash lands in Smallville, Kansas, and is found and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent.
Kal-El becomes a reporter at The Daily Planet in Metropolis where he disguises his true identity as Superman.
“Man of Steel” is rated PG-13 and runs two hours, 23 minutes.
