Lower Gwynedd Man Gets 7 Years for Selling Pot on Probation

A Lower Gwynedd man was sentenced Wednesday to a maximum seven years in prison for selling marijuana while on probation in the county.
Michael H. Rogers, 25, of the 1000 block of Trewellyn Avenue, pleaded guilty to the drug offense and a weapons charge in Montgomery County court, according to The Intelligencer.
Rogers had participated in an auto theft ring that stole cars from Plymouth and Upper Merion auto auction companies, per the report, and got three years' probation in July 2012 after pleading guilty to felony receiving stolen property.
Rogers' probation officer tipped off police to Rogers' drug dealing, and a warrant uncovered more than two pounds of marijuana in bags and a loaded .38-caliber revolver, per the article.
