Plymouth-Whitemarsh Again Places High On New PA School Rankings

The alternative rankings include input from students and parents as well as more quantitative data.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA — Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School is among the top ranked public high schools in Pennsylvania, according to Niche's just released 2026 Best Public High Schools in America

The school placed 25th in the new list, just weeks after it placed a nearly identical 24th on the more strictly qualitative ranking put out by U.S. News and World Report.

The evaluation metrics for the Niche list take input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.

Plymouth-Whitemarsh's similar placing on the two lists makes it something of an outlier, as the top 50 of each list looks quite different.

More traditional rankings like U.S. News, which often don't vary much if at all from year to year, go based strictly off of qualitative measurements like standardized test scores.
