RECALL: Snap Bracelets recalled for Laceration Hazard

Snap bracelets are being recalled for a laceration hazard.

Animal Snap Bracelets by Toysmith, and sold at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores from September 2011 to February 2012 have been recalled.

The metal snap band can wear through the fabric covering, which can result in exposing sharp edges, posing a laceration hazard.

There have been eight reports of injuries, including lacerations from the bracelets. There are approximately 89,500 units in the US.

The recall includes the fabric covered, metallic snap bracelets with animal figures, including: Seahorse, Frog, Snake, Starfish, Crab, Lizard, Dolphin and Fish.
Consumers should return the product to the store where purchase for a pull refund.
