Sliced Tires, Attempted Burglary Reported in Ambler Borough

Attempted Burglary: a resident in the 200 block of South Spring Garden Street reported sometime during the day of Feb. 21, someone unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry into their home.

Vandalism: a resident in the 1000 block of Huntingdon Road, Abington, reported that while visiting a home in the 100 block of South Spring Garden Street, she returned to her vehicle and noticed that both of the driver side tires were flat.

Warrant: Robert Stevens, 19, of the 5000 block of Ogden Street, Philadelphia, turned himself in to Ambler Police on an outstanding bench warrant issued by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.

Stevens was wanted on charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, threat of bodily injury to another person, theft by unlawful taking, simple assault and harassment. Stevens was held and later released to Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department.
