Ambler Patch: When did you open your business?

: I opened in August 2010.  Although we opened in Aug., 2010, offering Custom Airbrush tanning and Cosmetic Teeth Whitening, we only added our Spa services around March 2011. 

AP: What makes your business unique from others in your field?

EDS: I believe that our exceptional customer service, unique service menu and very affordable prices make us stand out from the rest.  Most all of our services are customized to meet the needs of the client. Essenza is also an Oncology Massage provider.

We are a small spa with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. Our service providers are highly trained and professional, all having already built a large clientele in a very short period of time. 

AP: What’s your most popular item?

EDS: It's difficult to choose a 1 service that stands out, but I would have to say that our Custom Airbrush tanning is our most popular service.  I opened the business with a passion to spread the word about skin cancer and the healthy, natural looking alternative to sunbathing and tanning beds. Being a skin cancer survivor myself, I had also baked in the sun and tanning beds, until around age 30 when I got my first of many to come basel cell skin cancer.  I only wish that the airbrush tanning we offer was available during my time.

AP: What are some services that you offer?

EDS: Custom Airbrush tanning, Waxing, Cosmetic Teeth Whitening, Skin Care/Facials, Massage, Detoxifying/Inch Loss body wraps, Body Scrubs, Makeup application (Airbrush and Mineral makeup). We will travel for almost all services.

AP: Where can customers find your specials?

EDS: Our specials can be found on our website, Facebook page, Vagaro-our online scheduling system, Around Main Street Facebook Page, Around Ambler Facebook page, First Friday's in Ambler Facebook page and through our email marketing.

Essenza Day Spa is open Tuesday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday form 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and open every other Sunday by appointment only.
