Whitpain Man Charged With Assault of Woman, Police Say

Julian Wells, 42, of Meadow Drive, allegedly threw a woman to the ground, and then proceeded to smash her cell phone and flee the scene, police said.

Whitpain Township Police arrested and charged a township man in an alleged assault of a woman on Meadow Drive.
Police said Julian Wells, 42, was the alleged assaulter in a domestic incident on the 1500 block of Meadow Drive on Oct. 2 at 12:22 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, the victim told police that Wells had allegedly thrown her to the ground, where she struck her head, police said.
The fight then allegedly continued outside, where Wells then allegedly smashed the woman's cell phone on the ground, police said.
Wells then allegedly fled in a red van, police said.
The van was stopped in East Norriton, where Wells was charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, police said.
