Whitpain Police Reports: Theft, Harassment, Drug Possession

Police incident reports from Whitpain Township Police Department.

Harassment - On July 26th at approximately 6:36 am, police were called to the , 1765 Dekalb Pk, for a disturbance. Police spoke with Victoria Black, 27 yrs old of the 300 block of Fairview Ave in Ambler, who reported that she was pushed to the ground several times by Gregory Distefano, 68 yrs old of the 100 block of Norwood Ln in Norristown. While speaking with Ms. Black, it was apparent that she was intoxicated. Mr. Distefano advised that he was talking with a friend when he was interrupted by Ms Black, who proceeded to yell at Mr. Distefano and bump him. Mr. Distefano pushed Black away from him. Victoria Black was issued a citation for Harassment and Public Drunkenness and Gregory Distefano was cited for Harassment.

DUI - Charges including DUI and Underage Drinking are pending against Patrick Campanini, 18 yrs old of the 1600 block of Jennifer Ln. On July 26th at 2:18 am, police received a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of Danbury Dr. When police arrived they located a white Mitsubishi parked on Mara Dr near Skippack. The officers stopped the vehicle on Skippack Pk, and the driver, Patrick Campanini appeared intoxicated. He was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital where blood was drawn and will be sent to the lab for analysis.

Drug Possession - On July 23rd at 2:01 am, an officer on patrol was checking a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the an officer observed drug paraphernalia in the open. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Donnell Thompson, 37 yrs old of the 100 block of Park Ave in Quakertown. He was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned by Judge Robert Sobeck and bail was set at $5,000/unsecured. He was transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility on a detainer from Adult Probation.

Theft - On April 7th at 8:32 pm officers were called to for a report of a male subject that stole $27.00 worth of seafood. The subject, later identified as Darryl Goode, 42 rs old of the 400 block of Basin St in Norristown, ordered the seafood and then left the store without paying for it. Goode was contacted by phone and advised he would come in and meet with investigating officers, but never did. Charges of Retail Theft were filed and on July 27th he turned himself in at Whitpain Police Department. He was arraigned by and bail was set at $1,000.00/ROR.
