Whooley's Secret Sauce Handed Down Over Generations

Whooley's Ribs in Ambler uses and sells their own sauce, a recipe handed down from generation to generation.

Ambler Patch: When did you open your business?

Whooley's Ribs: My father open this business almost twenty years ago. He loves to cook and feed people and that's how he got started.

AP: Who is your ideal client or customer?

WR: Our ideal customer is anyone that loves BBQ with a country tasting sauce. we hope to appeal to everyone even kids. The sauce is unique and great for everyone.

AP: What makes your business unique from others in your field?

WR: What makes us special is our sauce. It's an old recipe that my great grandfather passed to down to my father and now he has passed it down to me. It is a little tangy but has a kick. It great on everything, even eggs in the morning, it is better than ketchup. 

AP: What made you decide to open a business?

WR: My father started selling platters outside of house when we were younger, next thing you know we expanded to what we are today. 

AP: What’s your most popular item?

WR: Most popular item has to be the sauce, next to the sauce it is the BBQ Ribs. 

AP: What makes your community special?

WR: Our community is special because the people. The people make the community and with out them we could be nothing. 

AP: Where can customers find your specials?

WR: This business is word of mouth, but I do have a Whooley's Ribs Facebook which I try to keep updated with information.

According to a Facebook page update on April 5, Whooley's Ribs will open on May 25 for the summer season.
