Wissahickon Graduate Signed by New York Soccer Team

Babajide Ogunbiyi was signed by the Red Bulls Soccer team on Tuesday as a defender, according to the New York Post.

The 25 year old Ambler native and Wissahickon High School graduate, was selected during the second round of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft by the Red Bulls but failed to reach an agreement.

According to the New York Post article, Ogunbiyi spent the summer of 2008 training with the Nigerian National Team.
