Burglaries, Thefts: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Merion released details on recent crimes in the township.

These incidents occurred between March 25 and April 2.

April 2

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that they received a notification that the car doors to their Lexus had been opened. The Lexus was parked in the parking lot of their apartment complex at this time. The victim advised that their vehicle had been entered and gone through. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

April 1

• Theft (Merion Station) - The victim reported that a package delivered by FedEx and left on their front porch on this date. When they went to retrieve the package, they discovered it had been stolen from their front porch. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

March 29

• Theft (Ardmore) - The victim reported that a package was delivered by FedEx and left on their front porch on this date. When they went to retrieve the package, they discovered it was missing. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Burglary (Bryn Mawr) - Officers responding to a security alarm discovered forced entry to the rear door of a property. At this time it does not appear as if the actor(s) entered the residence as no signs of ransacking were located. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

March 28

• Theft (Wynnewood) - The victim reported that a package was delivered to the mailroom of their apartment complex by FEDEX on March 20th. When the victim went to retrieve the package a few days later, they discovered it was missing and had been stolen. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

March 27

• Burglary (Bala Cynwyd) - Multiple businesses in a corporate centered were entered and gone through overnight. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

March 26

• Theft of Wallet (Ardmore) - While shopping at a local grocery store, the victim advised that their wallet was stolen from their purse. The victim advised that they placed their purse in the shopping cart while shopping and turned away from the cart multiple times. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

March 25

• Theft (Villanova) - The victim reported that a package was stolen off of their front porch during the afternoon hours after being delivered by Amazon. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
