Cars Stolen, Broken Into: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

Lower Merion Township police reported three vehicle thefts and two vehicle break-ins across the township in less than a week's time.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Police shared details on recent crimes that have occurred in the township.

These incidents happened between Dec. 15 and Dec. 21.

Dec. 21

  • Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Honda was stolen from where it was parked along the street in front of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Dec. 19

  • Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's BMW was entered and gone through while parked along the street during the evening hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Dec. 17

  • Attempted Theft of Vehicle (Penn Wynne) - The victim advised that their Lexus was entered, and the steering wheel lock was tampered with during the overnight hours while the vehicle was parked in the victim's driveway. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Dec. 15

  • Theft of Vehicle (Merion Station) - The victim's Honda was stolen from where it was parked along the street near the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
