Death of Harriton Student Called Tragic Accident

Graham Dixon fell from the roof of his Gladwyne home, authorities say.

The death on Saturday of a Harriton High School student is being called a tragic accident by Lower Merion Township officials.

Graham Dixon, a freshman at Harriton, fell to his death from the roof of his Gladwyne home on Saturday, NBC Philadelphia said.

“As many of you have probably already heard, Graham Dixon, a freshman here at Harriton, has unfortunately passed away,” a statement posted this week by the Harriton Student Council reads. “To those who knew him, he was an extremely cheerful and wonderful guy and a great person to have around. Words cannot convene not only the extreme grief and sadness that his passing brings but also all the great memories that we all will remember him by.”

The incident is being treated as a tragic accident, police told NBC, and foul play is not suspected.
