Fall Prevention Seminar and More Thursday in Ardmore

Fall Prevention: On Thursday, November 7, at 1 p.m. at Symphony Square ALF. 35 Old Lancaster Rd, Bala Cynwyd, there will be a Fall Prevention seminar for seniors.  Here's how they describe the event: "Come join us for this informative presentation by a Doctor of Physical Therapy on fall prevention for the older adult.  No cost to attend this event.  Refreshments will be served."

This day in history: This seems appropriate since we just had an election.  On Nov. 7, 1874, A cartoon by Thomas Nast in Harper's Weekly, is considered the first important use of an elephant as a symbol for the United States Republican Party.
