Fire Destroys Lower Merion Home Saturday
A massive fire broke out at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday at a home on Centennial Road in Penn Valley. Luckily, no one was hurt.

BRYN MAWR, PA — A home in Penn Valley was destroyed by a fire Saturday morning, according to emergency responders and officials.
Lower Merion fire companies were called to a home on Centennial Road in Penn Valley at about 1:22 a.m. Saturday for a report of a fire in a wooded area.
A few minutes later, emergency responders learned a home was on fire.

Crews arrived and found the home heavily involved in a fire.
The residential fire prompted responses from numerous fire companies an EMS services.

Crews battled the blaze for several hours before clearing the scene at 6 a.m. Saturday.
Lower Merion Township officials said no one was hurt in the fire and that the Lower Merion Fire Marshal’s Office is working with the State Police Fire Marshall’s Office to investigate the cause of the fire.
