Hundreds Lose Power in Lower Merion
Crews were restoring service mid- to late Monday morning.
Power outages affected hundreds of Lower Merion buildings late Monday morning, as well as traffic signals on Lancaster Avenue and elsewhere, according to PECO and Montgomery County authorities.
The county issued an alert about 10 a.m. that described outages specifically in the Montgomery Avenue/Anderson Avenue area of Ardmore as well as Lancaster Avenue.
As of 11:40 a.m., PECO's outage database listed 170 customers without power, down from 668 less than an hour earlier.
