I-76 Lanes Closing Overnight Through Early July: PennDOT
PennDOT said the lanes will close overnight on Interstate 76 in Lower Merion and Philadelphia through early July.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Interstate 76 in Lower Merion and Philadelphia will have lane closures next week due to work resurfacing and repair work on the highway.
From Monday to July 2, a weeknight lane closure is scheduled on sections of I-76 in both directions between the U.S. 1/City Avenue and I-676 interchanges for line striping, pipe cleaning, sign installation, and barrier repair.
This lane closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

Additionally, the ramp from southbound City Avenue to eastbound I-76 will be closed and detoured for line striping Monday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
Drivers will be directed to follow the posted detour route.

This work is part of a $37.9 million project to resurface and repair nearly five miles of the interstate, the associated on-and-off ramps, and more than 20 bridges in the City of Philadelphia and Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
