LMSD Making Changes to Middle School Math Sequence

Lower Merion School District will be making changes to its middle school math sequence, the district announced Thursday morning.

Parents are invited to learn about the changes at a presentation at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, at Welsh Valley Middle School.

Among the presenters will be:

• Marcy Hockfield, Interim Director of Secondary Education;
• Arthur Mitchell, Supervisor of Secondary Math; and
• Barbara Giorgio, Supervisor of Secondary Literacy

The presentation will focus on the changes to the math sequence, and shifts in state testing, the district said.
