Lower Merion Police Seeks New Officers
The department is accepting applications for prospective probationary police officers until July 18.

The Lower Merion Police Department is looking to grow its ranks in the next year, according to its Facebook page.
The department began accepting applications for employment Monday for the position of probationary police officer. Hand-delivered applications can be submitted at the Staff and Inspections Unit on Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore. The application deadline is July 18 at 4 p.m.
Applications can be mailed or returned with a check, money order (payable to Lower Merion Township) or cash for $30 by mail to:

Testing for the position of Probationary Police Officer will occur on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 at 9 a.m. The anticipated date of hire is May 2016.
