Man Calls Police on Himself

A man called Lower Merion police after he was involved in an altercation in a St. Joseph's University dorm room on Nov. 17 at approximately 1:57 a.m.

According to police two men, ages 21 and 19, were involved in an altercation in McShane Hall in the 300 block of City Avenue.

Campus security originally responded to the situation; however, one of the men was unhappy with the way security resolved the situation, police said, so he called the police.

Police arrived on the scene and issued everyone involved with either an underage drinking citation or a disorderly conduct citation.
