Memorial Day Shooting In Ardmore Leads To Prison Sentence
Andrew McCutchen will spend 7-and-a-half to 15 years in prison for the shooting at the Spencer Reid American Legion Post in Ardmore.

ARDMORE, PA — The man who opened fire on another man at an American Legion in Ardmore on Memorial Day last year was sentenced to prison last week, according to court records.
Andrew McCutchen, 35, of Williamsport, was sentenced to 7-and-a-half to 15 years in prison in connection with the May 27, 2024, shooting at the Spencer Reid American Legion Post in Ardmore.
McCutchen pleaded guilty to attempted murder on Friday.

Authorities said McCutcheon shot a 26-year-old man, who they said was targeted, at the American Legion. The victim suffered multiple gunshots, police said. He was listed in stable but critical condition after the shooting, police said.
Police said McCutcheon then drove off, and as he did, a man came out of the legion and fired several rounds at the vehicle McCutcheon was in. That man was identified as Tre Vaughn Bolden.

Bolden was charged with felony aggravated assault, felony discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, simple assault, possession of a weapon, and recklessly endangering another person. He is scheduled for a court appearance on March 31.
As a result of the investigation, police identified McCutchen as the initial shooter, police said.
