New Bagel Shop Coming To Ardmore

PopUp Bagels is opening its new location in Ardmore's Suburban Square.

It's unclear when the chain's first Pennsylvania location will open.
Offerings include classic bagel flavors: everything, sesame, poppy seed, salt, and plain.

As for schmears, staples are plain, scallion, and salted butter. PopUp offers limited-time only schmears as well. Upcoming schmear flavors are caramel apple cream cheese and maple butter.
According to the New York Times, owners Adam Goldberg and Jeff Lewis began making bagels as a hobby during the COVID-19 pandemic in Connecticut and have now opened 14 locations.
The Ardmore shop will be their 15th.
The Times describes PopUp's bagels as "smaller, airier and crisper" than traditional New York style bagels and are more reminiscent of baguettes.
