Nutcracker, Bazaar and Author Appearance This Weekend in Ardmore

Dancers from Narberth will perform in "The Nutcracker," and Bryn Mawr College will host a Pulitzer Prize winning author.

the Philadelphia region’s first performances of the family-favorite. Featuring 
professional soloists and classically trained dancers from Narberth's Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet Society. Comparable to many professional performances at a price every family member can enjoy.

Christmas Bazaar

Why Go: Here's how they describe the event: "Please join us for our annual Christmas Bazaar at the Church of the Redeemer in Bryn Mawr.  This year we are also holding a shredding event ($10 a box)  from 10 - 1.  Breakfast and lunch available.  Lots of shopping and fun and treasure hunting for young and old. All proceeds raised support community outreach. Please stop by with your family and friends. Hope to see you there. www.theredeemer.org"

Why Go: Here's how organizers describe it: "This year's One Book One Lower Merion is "The Burgess Boys"  by Pulitzer  Prize winning author Elizabeth Strout. The final event in the series of programs will be the always popular and much anticipated author appearance and reading  which will be held Sunday, November 24th at 2:00 pm in the Thomas Great Hall of Bryn Mawr College. All of Elizabeth Strout's other books, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning "Olive Kitteridge"  will be availabe for purchase and for the author's autograph. This event is free and open to the public. More details are available on the Lower Merion Library System website (lmls.org)."
