Our Red Pandas Are Just as Cute as Yours, Cincinnati

Forget those other red pandas. The adorable red pandas at the Philadelphia Zoo are just as cute, and are enjoying the snow just as much.

A video of red pandas enjoying the snow at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden delighted the Internet on Thursday, and we’ll agree that they’re OK. But we have red pandas, too, and they’re just as delightful in the snow.

Red pandas, also known as firefoxes, are endangered, the Philadelphia Zoo says. There are four at America’s oldest zoo -- Basil, Spark, Mei Lin and JJ.

Want to see the red pandas enjoying the snow in person? The Philadelphia Zoo, at 3400 W. Girard Ave. in Philadelphia, is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting March 1, the zoo will be open until 5 p.m. Buy tickets here.
