Severed Gas Line Forces Evacuation Of Ardmore Office Building
No one was hurt, and Anderson Avenue was closed for several hours during the response, according to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore.

ARDMORE, PA — An office building in Ardmore was evacuated Monday morning due to a gas leak fire, according to first responders.
The incident started at 11:37 a.m. when Merion Fire Company of Ardmore was called to the north side of the Ardmore Train Station.
Fire officials said contractors at the station, which is under construction, severed a gas line in an alley between Suburban Square and the train station.

Firefighters closed roads in the area and evacuated a three-story office building on Coulter Avenue as precautions.
PECO crews showed up and capped the leak, while firefighters continued to monitor the air.

The incident was quickly placed under control by command.
