Suspect Nabbed in Penn Wynne Home Burglary
The early morning crime occurred Oct. 16, police said.

Lower Merion Township police, responding to a burglary in progress at a Penn Wynne home on Oct. 16, apprehended a man who may have been involved in other nearby recent burglaries, the department said Monday.
The home intrusion and theft occurred around 6 a.m. that morning, on the 1500 block of Crest Road. The homeowner was said to been awakened by a noise in the house.
A neighbor saw someone leaving the residence wearing a gray sweatshirt and dark backpack, and gave a description to a police officer. When police began checking the area, they found a man matching the neighbor’s description at Dover and Hampstead Roads in Haverford.
