
Baldwin Township Man Arrested for Simple Assault
came to 3001 Jameson Dr. at around 7:48 a.m. on Sunday in response to reports of violence.
Township police Sgt. Marty Conroy said that officers at the scene determined that a disagreement between Raymond R. Marcione Jr., 34, of that address, and another person escalated to the point where Marcione assaulted the second person, Conroy said.

Police arrested Marcione and are charging him with simple assault related to the incident.

police stopped motorist Mack McGuffey, 36, of 492 Milbeth Dr. in Mt. Lebanon, for driving erratically near the intersection of Dewalt Drive and Highview Road at around 2:24 a.m. on Sunday, Conroy said.
The officer smelled alcohol coming from McGuffey and reported that McGuffey admitted to recently drinking alcohol.
McGuffey failed field-sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He was then taken to for a blood test. Results of that test are pending.
Washington County Man Stopped for DUI
Baldwin police stopped motorist Steven M. Wisniewski, 27, of 1153 Venetia Rd. in Nottingham Township, for speeding in the 100 block of McNeilly Road at around 1:26 a.m. on Saturday.
The officer smelled alcohol coming from Wisniewski and reported that Wisniewski failed field-sobriety tests.
He was arrested, charged with suspicion of DUI and taken to the Mt. Lebanon police station for a blood test as part of Baldwin's cooperation with the Mt. Lebanon Area DUI Task Force. Results of that test are pending.
Dormont Man Stopped for DUI
Baldwin police stopped motorist David Charles Kalmeyer, 31, of 1131 Dormont Ave. in Dormont Borough, for driving erratically in the 400 block of McNeilly at around 11:52 p.m. on June 1.
The officer smelled alcohol coming from Kalmeyer and reported that Kalmeyer failed field-sobriety tests.
He was arrested, charged with suspicion of DUI and taken to the Mt. Lebanon police station for a blood test as part of Baldwin's cooperation with the Mt. Lebanon Area DUI Task Force. Results of that test are pending.
