Baldwin Gets Large State Grant For New Athletic Facility

The Baldwin-Whitehall area has taken a significant step in obtaining a new multipurpose athletic facility.

BALDWIN, PA — The Greater Baldwin Whitehall Athletic Association has been awarded $100,000 through a state grant program to build a multi-use, indoor practice building.

The association serves more than 1,500 children, ages 4-to-18, in the Baldwin-Whitehall area, primarily focusing on baseball and softball.

Association president Jesse Siefert said the new facility will also include spaces for basketball and team building activities year-round.
