Pittsburgh Pizza Chain Announces Multi-State Expansion Plan

One of Pittsburgh's favorite pizza chains has big plans for 2026. Patch provides the details.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh-based pizza chain has announced it will continue its national expansion early next year with the opening of three new locations in a trio of different states.

Vocelli Pizza will debut its fourth dine-in restaurant in Dalton, Georgia. The company also has signed a new franchise agreement in Katy, Texas that will be Vocelli's first entry into the Houston market. Vocelli also will open its 17th Maryland store in Rockville.

"We are thrilled to continue our growth into new communities that share our passion for quality, service, and authentic Italian-inspired food," Vocelli CEO Toni Bianco said in a statement. "Our expansion into Dalton and Houston reflects the strong demand for our brand, and we look forward to delivering an exceptional experience to guests in both markets."

In Dalton, Georgia, multi-unit franchisees of Vocelli will open within the Crown Cotton Mill, originally built in 1884 and now transformed into a mixed-use destination with shops, restaurants, event spaces and loft apartments.

Opening in January, the new dine-in location will have a stage for live music, pool tables, bingo nights, beer and wine service and a weekend brunch menu. The Dalton location will be Vocelli's second in Georgia.

The Rockville eatery will open in February and the Katy location will open in March.

Debuting in 1988 as Pizza Outlet, Vocelli now has more than 80 locations offering pizza and other Italian foods for carryout and delivery.
