Baldwin Township Bridge Closing For Months

BALDWIN, PA - Portions of McNeilly Road in Baldwin Township (not borough) and the city of Pittsburgh will close May 14 for approximately five months, the Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced. The closure is necessary to rehabilitate a bridge adjacent tothe intersection with Route 88 (Library Road).

Traffic will be detoured using Library Road, Saw Mill Run Boulevard, West Liberty Avenue and Pioneer Avenue. Pedestrians can continue to use the bridge during the closure.

The $700,000 project is expected to be completed in early October.
