BW Athletic Association Offering College Scholarships

Baldwin High School senior student-athletes enrolling in a post-secondary school this coming fall can win a one-time $2,500 scholarship through the Baldwin Whitehall Athletic Booster Association.

One male and one female will each win $2,500. The deadline to complete the form found in the media gallery above and send it to Mr. Vince Sortino, Athletic Director; Baldwin High School; 4653 Clairton Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236 is April 29.

The following criteria must be met for eligibility:

• Applicants must be senior student-athletes (WPIAL only) at Baldwin High.
• Applicants must be varsity letterwinners.
• Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Applicants must be college-, university- or vocational-school-bound.
• Applicants must complete the "Highlander Essay"—a self-written piece no longer than 500 words that reflects on why an applicant feels that she or he should be chosen to win the scholarship, how she or he encompasses school spirit, what goals she or he has set and achieved and what awards she or he has received.
