Cathell Road Closing Completely For Landslide Fix

BALDWIN, PA - Cathell Road, which has been reduced to one lane since a landslide near the intersection of Glass Run Road, will close completely for more than a month beginning Sept. 3. The closure is necessary to build a wall that should permanently solve the landslide issues.

Although Cathell Road will be closed to all through traffic during construction, local traffic will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. Residents access to their homes, and access for emergency personnel will not be affected.

But all other traffic will be routed through Churchview Avenue and Glass Run Road as a detour..The detour is expected to be in place until late October.
