Duquesne Light to Hand Out Energy-Efficient Bulbs at Whitehall Eat'n Park

Bulbs free to diners this Sunday.

In celebration of Earth Day, Duquesne Light is distributing free compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) to diners at participating restaurants this Sunday, April 22, including the one on Route 51 in .

CFLs use one-fourth of the electricity of traditional incandescent bulbs, and installing CFLs is an easy way to protect the environment, said Dave Defide, Duquesne Light's manager of customer programs.

"Even small decisions such as replacing the bulbs in your home with CFLs can make a big difference in conserving energy," Defide said, "not to mention lowering your electric bill.

"We are very excited about working with Eat'n Park to help get more CFLs in the hands of our community members, which will reduce energy usage throughout our region on Earth Day and beyond."
