Frugal Family: Spring Cleaning

The bad weather looks to be finally behind us, and more people are starting to host guests.

If you haven't made your pad as presentable as you'd like yet, here are some area deals on cleaning supplies this week.

Hurry; some of these deals end on Saturday.

1.) Bleach
Deal: —you can find one on Joseph Street in Baldwin Borough—will sell you two 128-ounce bottles of Austin's A-1 Bleach for $3.
Good through: May 9, 2012.

2.) Paper Towels
Deal: Rite Aid, which has two locations in Baldwin-Whitehall (, ), is selling eight-packs of its own brand of paper towels for $5.47 each. You must use a Rite Aid wellness+ rewards card to get the savings.
Good through: May 5, 2012.

3.) Swiffer WetJet
Deal: —you can find one on Route 51 in Baldwin Borough—is offering Swiffer WetJet starter kits for $19.99 each if you use a CVS ExtraCare rewards card.
Good through: May 5, 2012.

4.) Various Cleaners
Deal: Walgreens—you can find one  in nearby Bethel Park and at the Bill Green Shopping Center by the Route 51 cloverleaf in nearby Pleasant Hills Borough—is offering select household cleaners on a buy-one-get-one-free basis.
Good through: May 5, 2012.

5.) Stain and Odor Remover
Deal: Wal-Mart has a Supercenter on Century Drive in nearby West Mifflin Borough, and that Supercenter is selling 32-ounce bottles of Simple Solution scented cleaner for $5.48 each.
Good through: May 5, 2012.
