Football Player's Phone Missing

At around 9:10 a.m. on Saturday, Whitehall police received a call from a parent reporting that a Baldwin High School football player's cellphone was recently stolen or lost either soon before, during or soon after a Baldwin High football game played the night before at Mt. Lebanon High School. The player is the caller's son.

The parent told police that the phone must have been taken from Baldwin's home locker room in Whitehall or that the player dropped the phone some place near the school.

Borough police have since traced the phone to Whitehall's Mooreridge Drive area but have been unable to locate it.

The case is under investigation.
