Nearby: Route 88 Traffic Delays This Week
Banners being hung in Castle Shannon the week of May 14.

There may be traffic delays on Route 88 in Castle Shannon Borough from 6th Street/Killarney Drive all the way to Connor Road during the week of May 14, 2012.
Castle Shannon municipal workers will be hanging military banners on that stretch of road to pay tribute to those that are serving and/or have served in the military.
A description of the Shannon's Soldiers/Hometown Heroes program, sponsored by the Castle Shannon Revitalization Corporation (CSRC), can be found on the corporation's website.

This extension of the CSRC's program expands borough banner hangings to Route 88 from the northern to the southern borders of Castle Shannon.
A formal dedication of this leg of the program will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department parking lot, 3600 Library Rd. (Route 88). The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
