New Baldwin-Whitehall Elementary School Grand Opening Celebration Set
It's almost time for the debut of R.A. Lutz Elementary School.

BALDWIN, PA — The Baldwin-Whitehall School District has scheduled a grand opening celebration next month for the R.A. Lutz Elementary School.
The school officially will open to students in grades 3-5 when they return from winter break on Jan. 8. The public ceremony will occur on Saturday Jan. 13 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and feature a ribbon-cutting and tours of the new building, which replaces the outdated Paynter Elementary School.

• Grade-level classrooms arranged around an open courtyard.

• An interactive maker space connected to the library.
• A spacious spectator gym.
• A large cafeteria with multiple serving lines and a variety of food choices.
• An elevated stage with access to both the gym and cafeteria.
• Large open group learning and collaborative spaces for each grade level.
• A safe rubberized outdoor play area.
• An environmentally-friendly renewed grass play field.
