New Getaway Cafe Among 3 Dozen Eateries That Debuted In September

BALDWIN, PA - September was a busy month for the Allegheny County Health Department, which issued new permits for nearly three dozen food facilities. One of them was an old Baldwin favorite.

The Getaway Cafe, has been an institution at 3049 Sussex Ave. for more than two decades. But the place changed ownership several months ago, upgrades were made and the place was issued a new operating permit. The Getaway celebrated its official grand re-opening last weekend.
