Postponed Glass Run Road Work Slated To Start

PennDOT recently postponed the landslide repair project.

BALDWIN, PA - The Glass Run Road landslide remediation work that PennDOT recently postponed is now slated to begin Oct. 1. The repairs will close the road between Joseph Street and Route 885 until late October.

The detours are as follows:

  • From Glass Run Road, take Joseph Street westbound.
  • Joseph Street becomes Agnew Road.
  • Turn right onto Becks Run Road.
  • Turn right onto East Carson Street.
  • Bear left toward Glass Run Road.
  • Follow ramp to Glass Run Road.
  • End detour.

East of the slide:

  • From Glass Run Road, turn left onto Route 885.
  • Take the ramp to North 837 Carson Street.
  • Turn left onto Becks Run Road.
  • Turn left onto Agnew Road.
  • Agnew Road becomes Joseph Street.
  • Follow Joseph Street to Glass Run Road.
  • End detour.
