Recipe: Make 'Leprechaun Candy' Your New St. Patrick's Day Treat

This recipe is also known as sour patch grapes.

St. Patrick's Day is coming on Sunday, March 17.

As you dye your beer green and grill up your corned beef, make something special for the kids, too!

I recently tried out this "Leprechaun Candy" recipe after seeing it on ABC's "Good Morning America." It's supposed to be a healthier version of Sour Patch Kids.

My husband was my guinea pig, and ... the experiment was a delicious success!

Go ahead and try it. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Bunch of green grapes

1 package, lime JELL-O

Wash your grapes but keep them a little bit wet so that the JELL-O powder sticks to them.

Dump the JELL-O powder onto a plate and roll the grapes around in the powder.

Refrigerate the grapes for a couple of hours and enjoy your new, tart treat. (Try saying that three times fast!)
