National Eatery Opening New Pittsburgh Mall Location

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — A national restaurant chain will open its latest Pittsburgh location Tuesday in Ross Park Mall.

Shake Shack will debut in the mall food court with a 9:45 a.m. ribbon cutting. The first customers will be welcomed at 10 a.m. and will receive custom mini Shake Shack totes while supplies last.

Additionally, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold on Tuesday to the local nonprofit 412 Food Rescue, supporting efforts to address food insecurity and reduce food waste in the Pittsburgh area.

The new Shake Shack will be open Monday–Saturday from 10:30 a.m. -8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Shake Shack, known for the ShackBurger, crinkle cut fries, hand-spun shakes, and rotating limited-time menu items, opened its first Pittsburgh location in the Strip District last year.

Since the original Shack opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has expanded to about 500 locations systemwide - including more than 320 in across thee country and more than 175 international locations in cities such as London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City and Istanbul.
